Hannah Moore

Hannah is a current sophomore and Braverman Family Scholar at the University of Southern California in the School of Dramatic Arts and School of Cinematic Arts. She is also a graduate of Booker T. Washington HSPVA in Dallas, Texas, and a long-time member of the performing arts. Hannah is a multi-hyphenate artist. She is a published playwright; her play, Leave A Message, was performed and published professionally as part of the 2021 Playwrights Under Progress Festival with Junior Players and Kitchen Dog Theater. Leave A Message and her other playwriting work, Slumber Party, were also performed as part of the Booker T. Washington HSPVA Ten-Minute Plays Festival. Aside from writing, Hannah loves to be onstage and connect with audiences through acting. Her recent notable roles include Joanna in The Sentence, Young Laurian in T3 Presents: The Black Veils at Theatre Three, Penelope Smith in Committed: Mad Women of the Asylum with Cry Havoc Theater Company, Abby in The Secret Life of Girls and Meg Murry in A Wrinkle in Time at Dallas Children's Theater, and Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables. She is also a filmmaker; her short film Nevermore was featured in the 2022 Booker T. Washington Film Festival. She also worked as a Production Assistant and Sound Operator for the short film Willingly Into Darkness, which was recently named a finalist in the USA Film Festival - International Short Film Competition. Hannah is a proud member of USC's premiere improv and sketch comedy troupe, Commedus Interruptus, and invites you to come catch a (free!) lawn show on Fridays @ 1 PM by Tommy Trojan. Hannah's most recent performance was in The Sentence, a play she co-wrote, co-directed, and co-starred in with her friend and creative partner, Ainsley Ferrell, at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Following a run that included two sold-out showings, the pair were nominated for three awards: Best Two Person Show, Fringe First (Best Fringe Debut), and the Loud Karma Young Emerging Female and Non-Binary Playwrights Award.
